Manufacturing PMI in France decreased to 44.20 points in September from 46 points in August, but above consensus of 43.6.
The S&P Global France Manufacturing PMI still marked its eighth consecutive month of contraction and the steepest since May 2020, with production and new orders falling at one of their sharpest rates in almost three-and-a-half years.
