- Grainger (NYSE:GWW) plans to open a 500,000-square-foot distribution center in Gresham, Oregon, the company said Wednesday.
- The new Northwest Distribution Center will enhance customer service across the Pacific Northwest.
- Grainger plans to break ground this summer and expects to open the facility in 2025.
- The building will be constructed on a vacant 48-acre parcel of land in an industrial area of Gresham, about 16 miles from Portland.
- The company is also opening two bulk warehouses in Pennsylvania and Texas in September, plus a third in North Carolina in 2024.
Gresham is convenient to both I-5 (and I-205) and I-84 for convenient distribution transportation in the region. This is probably a good choice for them.
I’m sure some woke Greta’s in the area will come up with a plan to object but will be the first ones to want a new motor on their furnace .
