Grainger to open new distribution center in Oregon in 2025

Must read

  • Grainger (NYSE:GWW) plans to open a 500,000-square-foot distribution center in Gresham, Oregon, the company said Wednesday.
  • The new Northwest Distribution Center will enhance customer service across the Pacific Northwest.
  • Grainger plans to break ground this summer and expects to open the facility in 2025.
  • The building will be constructed on a vacant 48-acre parcel of land in an industrial area of Gresham, about 16 miles from Portland.
  • The company is also opening two bulk warehouses in Pennsylvania and Texas in September, plus a third in North Carolina in 2024.

Gresham is convenient to both I-5 (and I-205) and I-84 for convenient distribution transportation in the region. This is probably a good choice for them.
